What's so green about us ?
Living green is not a boring list of things to check every day, it is a creative and fun process if done the green wedding way.
For me it started about 18 years ago, when a small truck with black lambs drove in front of us in Portugal... they not only had these beautiful eyes and were cuddly cute, they looked very similar to my dog. That was it. No more animals on my plate, which changed over the years to a little sustainable fish here and there.
Looking for the freshest organic food I became the best customer of Wild Oats and Farmer's Markets. I learned about alternative medicine, then, building my house, about eco friendly Adobe construction, and about tree free paper, organic booze and bio diesel transport when I opened a performance space with restaurant.
Learning never stops and with Green Wedding came a whole new bunch of research from organic fashion to local flowers, from solar powered bathrooms to toxin free bubbles.
I drive a Hybrid to the wedding venues, write contracts under LED lights and on recycled paper, wear vintage, re-use what I can, donate to charities... Green offers a cornucopia of creative choices, it's a dance of priorities while redefining luxury.
Every couple adds new challenges and amazing ideas greening the weddings happily every after.
